This is the second installment in this wickedly sexy series of the love affair of Hades and Persephone. (There are book in between that are in Hade’s point of view - I will review as a collective.). When tragedy happens in Persephone’s life, she doesn’t know how to cope and seeks help in the most unwanted places from unwanted people. Hades struggles with letting Persephone find her way to making sure she doesn’t endanger herself or their union. With Persephone feeling desperate and untrusting of her lover, she strikes up a bargain with an unlikely ally. Now she has crossed a line that even Hades can’t save his love from and she has cause unrevokable pain to one of her dearest friends, the one she was trying to save. Amazing read! The sex scenes are steamy and erotic but the story it self is awesome. Scarlett St. Clair is superb. I couldn’t put this down till I was done - stopping is for quitters.

I was always a fan of Greek Mythology and Scarlet St. Clair has put a great twist to this Greek myth. Hades is madly in love with the Goddess Persephone. When the young Goddess strikes a deal with the God of the Underworld, life will never be the same. Persephone can’t deny her attraction to the dark, brooding, God, he is mystery and danger wrapped in sex and sin. The Goddess of Spring is living her life as a university student about to embark on her dream of being a journalist at the New Athens News. The inevitable union with Hades, God of the Death. Hades can’t and won’t deny his attraction to the beautiful Goddess and deal or no deal, Hades will have what he wants, and that is Persephone. The young Goddess strikes a bargain with Hades and we all know the God will get what he feels is right. The deal is for Persephone to produce life in the Underworld and she is free, if she can’t, she stays in the Underworld with Hades. What could go wrong? She is just a Goddess that has no idea on how to ignite and use her powers. When Persephone realizes that she is falling for the God, will she trust her heart or will she always doubt the truth of her feelings and question if they are real? This is a sizzling sexy tale of lust, love, desire, deception, and danger with a dash of heartbreak. I said dash. We can’t be happy all the time. Scarlett spins a super hot story. Fantastic read and absolutely keeps you engaged through the whole book. Highly recommend!

Rating Great easy read from Becca Fanning. When Meg is running from her controlling father she finds safety in the arms of shifter Mark Saint. Trying to hide the fact that she is a famous concert violinist she tries out to be part of the local orchestra and hopes to start a new life with her musician boyfriend. Can Mark protect her from her violent father? This story grips you from beginning to the end. I received this ARC copy for free for my honest review.

Rating A quick read from Becca Fanning. Great story. I was interested from beginning to end. Jeanie comes to Sun Valley to survey the land for a possible hostile take over when she notices that there is something special about this town. When Jeanie meets Ryan he tries to show her how special his hometown is because he knows the real reason why she was sent there and is hoping she won't side with the enemy. I recieved this ARC for free for my honest review. 

Rating In this Becca Fanning novella is a good read. When Kitty tries to convince her hottest musical act to perform at the Gran Ole Opry she gets push back from them and she needs to get to the bottom of this decision. This can be their chance to make it big but their Uncl Bart has other plans. Will Kitty be able to convince the sexy Bart to help his nephews change their minds so she can save her job? This was a very easy read and I couldn't get enough of Bart. I recieved this ARC copy for free for my honest review.

Rating When Laney is in a plane crash, she is the only survivor. Her rescuerer becomes her captor. This dark story has twists and turns that keeps you guessing. The "Stranger" as Laney calls him draws her in to feel things that one shouldn't feel for someone so dark and menacing. The "Stranger" is sexy hot in a deviant sort of way. Drew Jordan does a spectacular job of keeping the reader on on the edge of their seats!

Rating Great read from London Casey. Tripp is a sexy MMA fighter who fights for the Mob. When he loses a fight he needs to make up to his boss by protecting Winter, a widow of a VP for a local MC. Sparks fly for the two but could the whole situation be a set up?

Rating Tyler has a stranger that visits her every day for 3 years. When this cat and mouse game turns dark is when everything gets interesting. Tyler is still morning for her first love that has been gone for 10 years when her stranger appears in her life with a bang. Can he help her forget Dean, the love of her life, or is he stirring up burried feelings. This is a fast paced story that holds the reader's attention through the entire book.
